Senior HR Consultant – Hybrid – Up to £40,000 per annum + Benefits
Our client, a forward‑thinking and award‑winning HR consultancy, is seeking a Senior HR Consultant to join their expanding team in Aberdeen on a remote / hybrid basis. We need someone who is within travelling distance of Aberdeen (Aberdeenshire / Dundee / Fife / Perth) although a lot of this role can be done remotely.
Responsibilities
* Providing pragmatic HR and employment advice across a variety of sectors.
* Guiding clients through employee relations cases, from performance management to complex investigations.
* Reviewing and enhancing clients’ HR frameworks, policies, and.
* Advising leadership teams on best practice in recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention.
* Coaching and mentoring line managers to improve people management capability.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of client toolkits and internal processes.
* Growing your consultancy expertise and gaining exposure to a broad portfolio of businesses.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 years experience in HR with strong practical knowledge of employment law and employee relations.
* Proven ability to deliver commercially focused HR advice that drives results for clients.
* Excellent communication and listening skills with confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with high attention to detail.
* A proactive, consultative and solutions‑oriented mindset.
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
* Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
* CIPD qualification (or working towards it).
* Flexibility to travel occasionally to client sites and office locations as required.
