Senior Healthcare Assistant (Day)
We are looking for a new Senior Healthcare Assistant (SHCA) to join our team. As an SHCA, you will lead your team of Healthcare Assistants, ensuring all members provide person-centred care to residents, respecting their dignity and privacy at all times.
In this role, you will:
1. Ensure that each individual’s right to independence and choice are met.
2. Keep accurate care and medical records.
3. Support a positive work environment.
4. Support your care team and conduct supervisions/appraisals.
5. Liaise with health professionals and relatives to achieve the best care for residents.
6. Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors according to all safety requirements.

Qualifications
For this role, it is essential that you:
1. Have relevant medication administrative experience.
2. Have relevant care home experience.
3. Have NVQ 2 or 3 in Adult Social & Care.
As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will receive a higher rate of pay if you hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
