We are recruiting for a Year 3 Teacher for a Primary School in Atherton (M46) to work on a long-term basis starting 2025!

The Year 3 Teacher role is to start as soon as possible and will be a temporary role on supply until Friday 19th Dec 2025. This role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday 08:30am- 16:00pm. There are 29 children in the class and there are two full-time TAs supporting SEND children on a one to one basis. The school would like someone who has previous KS2 teaching experience and someone who has good behaviour management skills.

Your role & responsibilities:

6. Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
7. Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
8. Managing behaviour
9. Upholding school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
10. Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

11. You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
12. Hold QTS
13. Knowledge of the national curriculum
14. Be passionate and understanding
15. Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
16. Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
17. Good communication skills
