Senior Creative Designer

Our Leicestershire-based clients are seeking a passionate, motivated, and highly skilled 3D Senior Creative Designer to join their team. This role involves working with various beauty, health, and cosmetic brands on retail experiences. Experience within the Retail POS (Health & Beauty) industry is essential, and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment is a must.
The Senior Creative Designer should have a strong background in creative and concept design, supported by a portfolio showcasing retail design skills. Excellent communication skills are necessary for presenting ideas to internal teams and clients.
The role includes:
1. Conducting research and gathering insights related to psychology and customer behavior, translating these into design outputs.
2. Taking briefs directly from clients and account managers, evaluating them thoroughly, understanding budget and timescales, and guiding junior team members.
3. Generating creative concepts through sketching, CAD modeling, and visualization.
4. Presenting ideas to colleagues and clients, explaining the rationale behind designs.
5. Collaborating with 2D and technical designers to develop and produce concepts, ensuring the creative intent is maintained; a hands-on approach is vital.
6. Sharing knowledge and mentoring less experienced team members.
The candidate should possess:
1. A passion for design, both professionally and personally.
2. Proficiency in 3DS Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Cloud; SketchUp experience is a plus.
3. A passion for creating retail experiences that reflect brand identity, customer needs, and market trends.
4. A calm, positive, and proactive attitude, especially when handling challenging projects.
5. Strong presentation skills, capable of engaging internal teams and clients.
6. Collaborative mindset, able to suggest ideas aligned with challenging briefs.
7. Ability to build strategic relationships with clients.

9. Ability to identify new trends and innovations from diverse sources.
10. Understanding of marketing and brand communication principles.
