Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour

Reeson Education are recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join an alternative provision in the M33 area of Manchester. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, and a variety of other learning needs.
The Learning Support Assistant will work with pupils aged 11-16 in a structured and nurturing environment, helping to deliver tailored support and interventions that enable each young person to reach their full potential.
Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, and other additional needs.
* Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualised learning and behaviour strategies.
* Support pupils to engage in lessons, social activities, and extra-curricular opportunities.
* Promote confidence, independence, and positive social interactions.
* Maintain accurate records of progress and report to teaching staff.
* Help create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment.
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:
* Previous experience working with pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, or other additional needs is highly desirable.
* Patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting young people.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Commitment to promoting inclusion and helping students succeed academically and socially.
