Job Description
Electricity Field Service Engineer, Electrical Technician, Maintenance Engineer – Gaming, POS, ATM, Photocopiers.
This is a field‑based electrically biased Service Engineer role providing scheduled service, maintenance, reactionary repair, installation and commissioning of a very wide range of machinery across the Midlands (and occasionally further afield). You will also be responsible for repair and pre‑commissioning of equipment at the Northampton workshop. Very limited staying away.
You will liaise with internal team members, provide remote technical support for computer hardware and POS systems. Familiarity with fault‑finding or extracting relevant information from software applications would be beneficial.
Support internal IT systems – with occasional shared IT support monitoring over evenings and weekend for critical events only, and to cover holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* Field‑based electrically biased Service Engineer role.
* Repair and pre‑commissioning of equipment at the Northampton workshop.
* Electro‑mechanical work on hardware, plus troubleshooting issues related to software applications / network connectivity.
Person Specification
* An electrically biased Maintenance or Service Engineer with excellent hands‑on repair, fault‑finding and debugging skills.
* Familiarity with electrical equipment – any experience in the gaming machine, ATM, photocopier, point‑of‑sale sectors would be an obvious advantage.
* Understanding of network connectivity and general IT infrastructure would be an advantage.
