This is a superb opportunity for an ambitious and experienced Art Teacher looking to take on a leadership role within a supportive and well-resourced setting. You will oversee the teaching of Art across KS3–KS5, manage two specialist Art Teachers and a part-time technician, and lead on curriculum development, assessment, and exhibitions.
The school has recently refurbished its Art block, which includes a ceramics studio, digital art suite, and darkroom. Students consistently achieve strong results, and Art is a popular option at GCSE and A-Level. The school hosts annual exhibitions, collaborates with local galleries, and takes part in national competitions.
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in Art, Fine Art or similar with QTS
• Experience of delivering Art at KS3–KS4, A-Level experience preferred
• Proven record of student achievement and excellent curriculum knowledge
• Leadership experience (formal or informal), vision, and strategic planning skills
• Right to work in the UK essential
