Job Description
* Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organisation's objectives.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain robust internal controls.
* Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to support decision-making at the C-Suite level.
* Manage cash flow, investments, and risk to safeguard the company's financial health.
* Lead and develop the finance team to ensure optimal performance and growth.
* Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational strategies.
* Evaluate and drive cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability.
The Successful Applicant
* Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
* Clear evidence of delivering strategic improvements in their existing business
* Senior Finance Leadership Experience - ideally have experience as an Finance Director in a scaling SME
* High levels of Commercial Acumen - experience in contract negotiation, bids, tenders and pricing
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers, colleagues and senior stakeholders
