Experienced Assistant required on high yielding, AYR calving, Sand bedded, Housed herd In Barton St David, Somerton, Somerset.
Duties covered by our current person include keeping Robot areas clean, Fetching late cows, Bedding & keeping cubicles clean, Bedding & scraping young stock & Feeding calves.
Good cow skills required, must be quiet with stock & have basic tractor abilities.
Current person does around 40 hours a week, Covering alternate weekends.
3 Bed bungalow in the village, walking distance to the farm available for the right person.
Hours & salary by negotiation.
Self employment preferred.
