Overview
We are looking for a competent part-time/full-time Senior Admin/Receptionist, with a minimum experience of 1 year within NHS GP services (preferably Systm1 user). You will need to work within a busy team environment but also use your own initiative and work on your own when necessary. You should have a good working knowledge of NHS focused software, especially SystmOne. You will be dealing with patients as well as outside agencies, accessing the service both on the telephone and face to face, so you will need to have good communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Cover reception
* Assist with insurance, private reports
* Community and Hospital referrals (eRS referral)
* Invite patients for regular check-ups
* Provide customer service with telephone manners
* Deal with outside companies (e.g., IT help desk, stock ordering)
* Assist management team
* Assist with practice complaints and patient queries
* Registrations
* Maintain petty cashflow
* Triaging eConsults
* Maintain good knowledge of Systm1 and Accurx
* Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned
* Clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents; manage office inventory
Requirements and Qualifications
* Essential: Minimum 1 year experience of working in a GP practice or similar setup
* Essential: Systm1 trained
* Essential: Excellent communication skills
* Essential: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
* Essential: Professional appearance and demeanor
* Essential: Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
* Desirable: Basic IT skills, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Teams, OneDrive
