Engineer – Electrical system validation

* Hours: 40 hours/week
We seek an Engineer – Electrical system validation to join our Requirements & Validation department in a dynamic environment.
About The Role
Define and execute system test and validation activities on products and rigs.
What You Will Do
* Develop DV & PV test plans for components and systems.
* Support external testing agencies.
* Assist in requirements documentation at various levels.
* Build, fault-find, and support projects.
* Contribute to hazard analysis, risk management, and DFMEA.
* Prepare and present reports.
* Engage in technical reviews and maintain stakeholder relationships.
* Adhere to industry standards and regulations.
About You
Essential
* Experience in electrical integration within automotive or autosport sectors.
* Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
* Knowledge of testing and validation methods.
* Familiarity with electrical/environmental test standards (e.g., LV124, ISO16750).
* Proficiency in Vector tools (CANalyzer).
* Ability to meet deadlines and travel within the UK and abroad.
Preferred
* Experience with Electric Vehicles, HV systems, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
* Knowledge of requirements capture tools (e.g., Siemens Polarion, IBM Rational Doors).
* Understanding of functional safety standards (ISO26262).
