You will manage the workload of the dispensary and supervise staff on a day-to-day basis, organising rotas and cover for any unexpected staff absences to ensure a safe, effective, and timely service in accordance with current legislation and guidance and supported by policies and procedures. Our aim is to play a full part in the health and social care economies we serve, by promoting and driving greater integration between mental and physical health and social care.Detailed job description and main responsibilitiesThe post holder will participate in the medicines management seven-day supply service. The trust will deliver a high-quality medicines optimisation and pharmaceutical care service to all service users, carers and healthcare professionals. To lead in providing a comprehensive dispensary service to Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust supported by appropriate policies & procedures.

The post holder is managerially responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination, management & operation of the dispensary rota & service in line with the hours of operation. The post holder will ensure users receive their medicines accurately and safely, in a timely manner. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly in line with the hours of operation.Please refer to the job description for more information.
