You will manage the workload of the dispensary and supervise staff on a day-to-day basis, organising rotas and cover for any unexpected staff absences to ensure a safe, effective, and timely service in accordance with current legislation and guidance and supported by policies and procedures. The trust will deliver a high-quality medicines optimisation and pharmaceutical care service to all service users, carers and healthcare professionals. To lead in providing a comprehensive dispensary service to Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust supported by appropriate policies & procedures.
The post holder is managerially responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination, management & operation of the dispensary rota & service in line with the hours of operation. The post holder will ensure users receive their medicines accurately and safely, in a timely manner. The post holder will be expected to work flexibly in line with the hours of operation.Please refer to the job description for more information.
