About the Role
We’re looking for a Customer Service Operative to join a busy, fast-paced environment. This role is key to ensuring smooth daily operations, accurate stock control, and exceptional customer support. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality customer service and support operational activities.
* Process and maintain accurate customer and stock data using manual and computer systems.
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, escalating when necessary.
* Produce and distribute documentation and reports within agreed timeframes.
* Handle customer queries efficiently and liaise with internal teams.
* Assist in generating invoices and KPI reports.
* Support Health & Safety checks and compliance processes.
* Perform general administrative duties and reception cover when required.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum GCSEs (Grade C or above) or NVQ Level 2.
* Previous experience in customer service or administration (preferable).
* Strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
* IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
* Ability to work as part of a team in a busy office environment.
* Awareness of Health & Safety practices.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with stock control systems and WMS.
* Ability to recommend process improvements.
