Your Role
We are seeking an experienced Material and Logistics Planner for our automotive site in Halewood.
This role involves coordinating onsite material planning and logistics activities with CEVA teams to meet project requirements. You will adapt to supply chain changes due to demand, costs, or customer challenges.
The position is based at our Halewood operation, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours based on project needs, including potential weekend work.
What You Will Do
* Calculate the volumes and flows of parts throughout operations.
* Conduct resource planning to meet business needs.
* Design warehouse layouts considering LEAN methodologies.
* Collaborate with production and operational teams on delivery methods.
* Provide logistics support as requested by customers.
* Review and benchmark current operations for service excellence.
* Promote continuous improvement and high performance.
* Assist in developing the master schedule and ERP system support.
* Ensure timely delivery of projects, identifying risks and solutions.
What We Are Looking For
Applicants should have experience in warehouse planning or solutions design, with a track record of operational improvements. Strong understanding of operational layouts and environments is essential, preferably in fast-paced settings.
Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement are necessary. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with AutoCAD or MTM software are desirable.
