Building Safety Manager needed around south west Paying £60,000 ref 5295026
Full time hours on a permanent basis
* Key Requirements
o Confident leadership style with strong technical credibility and the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate across a complex organisation
o Degree-level education (or equivalent experience) in a relevant technical discipline
o Level 4 (or above) qualification in fire safety management or asset compliance (e.g. NEBOSH Fire, Advanced Fire Safety Diploma, or equivalent)
o Strong technical knowledge of:
+ Building design and construction
+ Fire strategies, life safety, and human behaviour
+ Compartmentation and building fabric
+ Building systems and their interaction
o Demonstrable experience in a building safety role, working with multiple stakeholders
o Extensive knowledge of statutory and regulatory building safety requirements, particularly for HRBs
o Proven experience analysing complex risk scenarios and developing practical, proportionate solutions
o Strong understanding of health and safety legislation within the built environment
o Experience using digital systems to monitor, evidence, and report compliance and performance
o Membership of, or certification by, a relevant professional body or equivalent specialist training
