Pay: £90-£105 per day
Special Needs Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Hammersmith (September Start)
ANZUK Education is currently supporting a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Hammersmith, West London, in their search for a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant. This full-time position begins in September 2025 and involves providing 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them to access the curriculum and thrive in a classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with Autism
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored learning strategies
* Encourage social interaction, communication, and academic engagement
* Support classroom routines and help promote the pupil’s independence
* Foster a calm, inclusive, and structured learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience supporting children with Autism or related SEN needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
* A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to behaviour and learning
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to learn
* A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Availability for full-time work starting September 2025
