About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Communication and Interaction unit. The team will support children with speech, language and communication needs. The unit is on the Elveden school site and is part of the school community. The pupils will benefit from an enriched learning environment and a child-centred EYFS/KS1 curriculum. We are seeking a committed higher level teaching assistant with a passion for supporting/delivering learning to pupils with Speech & Language difficulties. Must hold HLTA or equivalent qualification. Experience of teaching pupils with SLCN desirable but not essential. Essential to adapt learning, use initiative, good knowledge of SEND and inclusion. Beneficial to have Early excellence knowledge, interest in continuous provision, Forest School and play-based learning.

About the School
Elveden C of E Primary Academy is a small, rural school on the outskirts of Thetford and Brandon. We are welcoming with excellent relationships with parents and the wider community. Current pupil enrollment: 105, expanding to 123; unit pupils on roll: 18.
