* Monitor and report on student progress, behaviours and outcomes to the SENCO and wider team.

* Foster a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment at all times.

* Support pupils in regulating their emotions and developing positive behaviour strategies.

* Contribute to the planning and adaptation of learning materials to suit individual needs.

* Assist with transition support, reintegration into mainstream lessons, or external placements as required.

What We’re Looking For

* Is passionate about helping young people overcome social, emotional, and mental health barriers to learning.

* Brings a strong understanding of SEMH needs and the challenges they present in a school setting.

* Can manage competing demands and respond calmly under pressure using sound judgement and initiative.

* Demonstrates excellent organisational and time-management skills.

* Is nurturing, approachable, and patient, with a genuine commitment to pupil well-being.

* Builds effective, respectful relationships with students, families, staff and external professionals.

* Possesses strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Has a solid standard of literacy and numeracy, ideally with qualifications in English and Maths at Level 2 or above.

Why Join This School?

* Be part of a specialist provision committed to inclusive, personalised education.

* Work in a school that values teamwork, compassion, and professional growth.

* Access high-quality training and development to support your career journey.

* Join a staff community that prioritises well-being and positive working relationships.
