Hidden away in a corner of the new Sheepfolds Stables development you'll find the Spey Snug. With a product focus on Single Malt Whiskies and fine cigars, the Snug is an opulent space designed to mirror clubs from the turn of 18th century. The Spey Snug is a partnership venture between the Sheepfolds Stables and the distillery from which the Spey Snug is named.
While nowadays you can now find Speyside Distillery nestled in the countryside of northern Scotland, it's roots are very much from the Wearside region, making the Sheepfolds Stables a perfect home for the Spey Snug outside of Scotland.
We're looking for a person with a passion for whisky and cigars to be the face of the Snug; to take pride in the heritage of the brand, and to help share their story to visiting guests and those beyond the development's walls.
Role overview
* As the head bartender you will work in the Spey Snug 3-shifts per week Friday-Sunday.
* There will be an option to pick up up more hours to spend time building relationships with clubs, societies and businesses with a view to driving sales growth through bookings and event-led activity.
* You will be the face of the Snug, delivering exceptional service and connecting our guests with both the product and the storied history of Speyside Distillery.
* You will report directly to the General Manager of the Sheepfolds Stables, but will have responsibilities to ensure any other team members working in the Snug in your absence have the required level of product knowledge and service skills.
