Position: Business Teacher Location: Manchester Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS4–KS5 Business Teaching Role in a Secondary School A secondary school in Manchester is seeking to appoint a Business Teacher to join its department from September. This is a full-time role within a school that values academic achievement, real-world learning, and strong outcomes in business education. Business Studies is a popular subject at GCSE and A-Level, with students developing knowledge in finance, marketing, enterprise, operations, and organisational decision-making. About the Role You will teach Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of commercial environments, entrepreneurship, and business strategy. Students will study topics including marketing, finance, operations, human resources, and external influences on business performance, supported through case studies and analytical tasks. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Business examinations, helping them develop analytical writing, evaluative thinking, and strong exam technique. You will work collaboratively within the department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
