The school provides education for pupils with complex learning needs, and every student has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
The school supports pupils with a range of needs including Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech and language difficulties, and physical needs.
Many students have a combination of these needs, requiring a personalised and highly supportive approach to learning.
As an SEN Teacher, you will lead a small class and work closely with experienced teaching assistants, therapists, and SEN professionals to provide a meaningful and engaging learning experience tailored to each pupil.
Key Details Role: SEN Teacher
* Location: Reading
* Salary: Dependant on experience (Teacher pay scale) SEN allowance
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am
- 3:30pm
* Start Date: ASAP Ideal Candidate This role would suit:
* Qualified Teachers (QTS or equivalent)
* Teachers with experience in SEN, ASD, SLD, or PMLD settings
* Early Career Teachers with a strong interest in specialist education
