Job Description
IQVIA is seeking an experienced and driven Business Access Manager to support the UK launch of a highly anticipated monoclonal antibody in Nephrology Rare Diseases, specifically PNH and aHUS. This is a field-based role ideally suited to someone located in the North of England, with the flexibility to travel across the UK as required.
Our client is a global biopharmaceutical leader committed to expanding access to high-quality biosimilar medicines. Since 2012, they’ve built one of the fastest-growing biosimilar portfolios in the industry, helping to improve patient outcomes while reducing healthcare costs.
Location: North of England (Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, or surrounding areas preferred)
Territory: Primarily Northern UK, with occasional travel to other UK sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
1. Commercial Leadership: Manage commercial activities across 30–40 specialist rare disease centres throughout the UK.
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with hospital stakeholders including clinicians, hospital managers, and high-cost drug pharmacists to drive product uptake and patient access.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure decision-makers are fully informed and supported for optimal prescribing.
