Job Description
* Managing customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
* Preparing and issuing invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
* Monitoring credit limits and assessing creditworthiness of new clients.
* Reconciling accounts and resolving payment discrepancies efficiently.
* Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions and correspondence.
* Collaborating with internal teams to manage customer queries and disputes.
* Providing regular updates and reports on accounts receivable status.
* Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* Previous experience in credit control or a similar role within accounting and finance.
* A strong understanding of accounts receivable and financial processes.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Great attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
