We’re now looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Procurement Coordinator to join our operations team and help keep our supply chain running smoothly. As Procurement Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for stock and inventory control, working closely with suppliers across multiple product categories — from raw ingredients and beverages to crisps and baked goods — to ensure our central bakery and 109 retail locations are consistently and efficiently supplied. This position is based at our Watford Head Office (Sunley House Old's Approach, Northwood, Watford WD18 9TB). Key responsibilities include: • Monitoring and managing stock levels across central production and retail sites • Placing and tracking orders with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery • Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships across food, beverage, and packaging categories • Identifying and resolving supply issues before they impact operations • Supporting forecasting and ordering based on promotional activity and seasonal trends • Maintaining accurate inventory records and updating internal systems • Collaborating with production, logistics, and retail teams to align supply and demand About you: • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or stock control (preferably in food or FMCG) • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective supplier relationships • Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-site environment • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and team player attitude Next Steps: If you feel you are the right fit for Wenzel’s please click “apply now” to be directed to our recruitment portal.
