Calgaz Ltd, part of the Air Liquide Group, is the world leader in the manufacture of calibration gases, distributed from our Stoke facility across the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and beyond. Working with our Head Office in Houston and sister plants in the USA, Calgaz is a global leader in its field. We are now recruiting 1 full-time Customer Service Associate based at our Stoke plant. The role involves order entry, quotations, and supporting our key customers. The position reports to the EMEA Sales and Customer Services Manager in Stoke.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Order entry using SAGE (Europe and Asia), Zendesk, and other in-house systems, including stock checks, part number searches, and shipping details.
2. Providing quotations to European, Middle Eastern, and African customers, often within one hour for key clients.
3. Providing key documents such as Certificates, SDS, Shipping info, Tracking info, PODs, and downloading order info from Customer Portal.
4. Resolving customer complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
5. Performing other functions as required by the international Customer Services team.
Working Details
Working hours are 08:00 - 16:30, Monday to Friday.

* Proven success in high-pressure customer service environments.
* Ability to adapt to various IT systems, including SAGE, Google, and Microsoft Suite (full training provided).
* Ownership of complex issues with follow-through to resolution, including root cause analysis and solutions.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume order processing.
* Curious, methodical, and proactive in suggesting improvements.
* Respectful attitude and positive outlook.
* Innovative mindset to develop workflows and support colleagues.
* Minimum education: A Level or equivalent.
* Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
* Computer and IT literacy.
* Flexible team player.

This role is based in Stoke.
