Your role as a lead professional will involve coordinating support with multi-agency partners, ensuring a comprehensive approach to meet the family's needs. What The Job Involves In this position, you will take responsibility for providing high-quality outreach and home-based Early Help support to children and families using a whole family approach. Your main tasks will include: Acting as case holders for complex cases stepping down from children's social care. Offering support for cases that reach higher complexity levels to ensure smooth transitions. Providing intensive and targeted support to vulnerable children and young people. Assessing risk and need through early help assessments and formulating Team Around the Family plans. Employing de-escalation methods to reduce challenging behaviors. Supporting families in developing practical parenting strategies and engaging them through consultations. Recording effective documentation and attending supervision sessions with the Early Help Consultant Social Worker. Meeting requirements set out in the Early Help Hub Practice Standards and promoting safeguarding in line with statutory guidance and legislation. Contributing to the development of services, ideas, and engaging with service users through consultation and partnership. Maintaining knowledge of the legal framework and working within a performance management framework in compliance with statutory and health and safety requirements.
