Finance Manager - 9-12 Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a successful manufacturing business in Runcorn, who are seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to cover maternity leave on a 9-12 month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a hands-on finance leadership role, managing the day-to-day running of the finance function while supporting the wider business with financial planning and analysis.

Job Duties:
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the finance function.
* Produce timely and accurate management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
* Ensure robust financial controls, processes, and compliance with statutory requirements.
* Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and support decision-making.
* Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring high standards of performance and accuracy.
* Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
* Support the senior leadership team with financial reporting and analysis.

Ideal experience:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
* Experience working within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
* Strong management accounts and financial reporting experience.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability.
* Hands-on and adaptable approach, with strong attention to detail.
