The successful candidate will lead a team of passionate art educators, manage curriculum delivery from KS3 to KS5, and play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction of the school. This is a full-time, permanent leadership position commencing in September 2025. The role would suit an experienced Art Teacher with a proven track record of delivering outstanding results and with experience in departmental leadership or aspirations to move into such a role. You will be responsible for the strategic development of the subject, staff mentoring, assessment planning, and overseeing enrichment and exhibition opportunities. The department currently delivers a rich and varied curriculum across Fine Art, Textiles, Photography, and 3D design. It is well-equipped with spacious studios, a darkroom, digital media facilities, and dedicated gallery space for student showcases.
