Teaching Assistant / SEN Teaching Support - SN11

My client, a thriving primary school in Calne recently rated Good by Ofsted (July 2024), is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs. This role is looking to start from September on a fixed-term contract for the full academic year.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Support individuals, small groups and whole classes across the school
* Work closely with teachers and the wider SEND team to deliver tailored learning
* Promote positive behaviour and inclusion across all year groups
* Assist with personal care duties for pupils who require additional support
* Communicate clearly and compassionately with children, staff and parents
About You
* Be able to do the job as described.
* Willing to work flexibly across all primary age groups
* Open to performing personal care duties, including stoma care (training provided)
* Interested in working with pupils facing social, emotional or mental health challenges
* Experience or interest in supporting speech and language development is a plus
