Role Overview
As a HR Coordinator at Tyrens UK, you will provide administrative support for all HR processes, ensuring all aspects of the employee lifecycle are managed appropriately and managers receive support in employee relations case work.
Key Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for general HR queries, by telephone, email or face-to-face.
* Administer all other HR processes at all stages of the employee lifecycle, including staff transfers, promotions, pay rises and leavers ensuring the HRIS is updated in a timely way.
* Prepare the monthly payroll changes, timely and accurate
* Ensure all documents are retained in accordance with the retention schedule and archived as appropriate, always complying with GDPR requirements
* Provide additional support to team members as required.
Onboarding
* Responsible for administering the new starter set up in the HR system
* Ensure that line managers have an induction plan for any new starters and support them where necessary
* Coordinate induction days
Employee relations
* Responsible for the administration of any family friendly leave (Maternity, Paternity, Adoption and Shared Parental) and communication with the employee before, during and upon return from leave
* Support with visa renewals
* Support with reviewing our policies and processes
Skills and Experience
* Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
* CIPD Level 3 or working towards qualification
* Highly organised with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
* Calm and focused under pressure
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
* Committed to data accuracy and integrity
* Handles confidential information with discretion
* Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality standards
* Builds positive relationships across all levels
* Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal
* Flexible, proactive, and eager to learn
* Diplomatic and tactful in approach
* Collaborative team player
