Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant - Specialist College Isleworth- Immediate Start
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team supporting autistic young people aged 16-25, delivering a personalised curriculum and providing 1:1 support. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 4:00pm, Immediate Start
The Role
* Provide 1:1 and small group support, tailored to each learner's individual goals.
* Assist in delivering a personalised curriculum that supports academic, social, and life skills development.
* Help learners build independence and confidence through structured, autism-friendly approaches.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, both in and outside the classroom.
* Work closely with teachers and therapists to adapt activities and ensure learners can reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (autism experience highly desirable).
* A genuine passion for empowering young people to build skills and independence.
* Ability to provide patient, consistent, and empathetic support.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Willingness to obtain or already hold an enhanced DBS.
* Live local to Isleworth or within a commutable distance
