About you:
* Proven experience in construction estimating or related commercial roles on large-scale projects
* Strong grasp of construction methods, cost planning, and contract types relevant to UK and Irish markets
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills with sharp attention to detail
* Confident communicator capable of managing stakeholders effectively at all levels
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent (Level 8 or higher)
* Experience with estimating software and digital tools is advantageous
What you’ll do:
* Lead the creation and submission of detailed, competitive cost estimates for complex projects
* Collaborate with internal teams and supply chain partners to gather accurate pricing and define project scope
* Analyse drawings and specifications to ensure complete scope capture and identify value engineering opportunities
* Manage multiple tender processes simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
* Contribute to bid strategy, risk analysis, and post‑tender reviews to optimise success rates
