We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is interested in joining the Council's Performance and Business Intelligence Team for a fixed term of 12-months.
As a data analyst you will collect, clean, interpret, and visualize large datasets to identify trends and patterns, helping the organisation make informed, data-driven decisions. You will be required to analyse data from the Council's Liquid Logic LCS system and other data sources, assist with statutory government returns, produce monthly performance reports and respond to ad-hoc requests for data.
Previous experience and practical ability to analyse and report data using MS Excel is essential. Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and Microsoft Power BI is desirable, and training will be provided.
Prior experience of children's social care and early help support for children, young people and families is desirable.
You will need to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, to work closely with others in the team and the departments that you will support.
A degree or equivalent in an analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience would be advantageous.
