The Role
Position: Day Program Assistant Director
Location: Wakefield, MA
Pay rate: $24.00 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday (8am-4pm)

Summary & Responsibilities
The Assistant Director leads community-based activities, motivating and engaging individuals to enhance their lives. Responsibilities include:
* Hiring, supervising, evaluating, and training staff; conducting performance evaluations
* Supporting individuals in developing community skills and personal choices
* Supervising implementation of support plans and maintaining documentation
* Training staff and individuals, fostering an individual-centered environment
* Maintaining confidential records and ensuring regulatory compliance
* Participating in planning meetings and advocating for individual needs
* Providing personal care and group coverage as needed
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, with 2+ years’ experience with adults with developmental disabilities
* Knowledge of OSHA, DPH, CARF, QUEST, DDS, EOEA policies preferred
* At least one year in an administrative role
* Passion for supporting people
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
* Ability to pass background and reference checks
