Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay: £90/100 per day.
GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Coventry from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and play a crucial role in their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support for students with EHCPs across various year groups.
* Deliver small group interventions focused on academic, social, or emotional support.
* Assist teachers in implementing tailored strategies that meet the individual needs of each pupil.
* Track student progress and provide feedback to the SENCO and teaching team.
* Support students with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and MLD in both classroom and pastoral settings.
* Contribute to creating an inclusive, supportive, and safe learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure positive outcomes for students.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working in a school or educational setting, ideally supporting students with SEN.
* A strong understanding of EHCPs and the ability to adapt support plans accordingly.
* Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude to support diverse learning needs.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
