Furley Park Primary Academy would like to appoint an experienced Teaching and Learning Assistant for 33.5 hours per week, term time only, on a temporary contract, to join our dedicated and highly effective team. The post will include someone to one support and whole class/group support. The succesful candidate will be flexible to work in other year groupsin the future and experience of supporting pupils with behavioral and emotional needs would be an advantage.

The successful candidate willsupport whole class learning, small groups and willwork on a 1-1 basis with children who have a specific learning needs. You will inspire learning and support excellent teaching; and have a passion for bringing a rich and varied curriculum to life.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliverindividualised programmes that bring learning to life for pupils at the stage they are working at. Some recording of progress will also be required and you will be expected to engage with parents on a regular basis. The successful candidate will be prepared to work across the school. Experience of working with children in foundation stage or with pupils withadditional needswould be an advantage.
The successful applicant must have an NVQ level 2 for Teaching Assistants / Learning Support.
