Team Administrator
Location: Huntingdon
Job Type: Temp (with potential to extend)
Hours: Mon - Fri, 8am - 4pm
Rate: £12.50 - £13 per hour
Working Pattern: Fully onsite during training, moving to a 50/50 hybrid arrangement once training is complete.
We are recruiting an Admin Support professional on behalf of our Huntingdon based a client. This is a key support role within a busy operational team, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, accuracy, and being the go-to person for keeping things running smoothly.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and organisational support to the Customer Coordinator and the wider Delivery team. You will also support an existing Administrator whose workload has increased, including providing cover during sickness and planned holidays. This is a support-focused role rather than owning an individual workload, so flexibility and a team-first mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general admin support to the wider team
Input, update, and maintain accurate data across systems
Monitor shared mailboxes and respond to emails and phone queries
Add bookings, raise jobs, and support invoicing processes
Pull reports, verify spreadsheet data, and reconcile records
Prepare and file electronic and paper documentation
Raise Purchase Orders and resolve stakeholder/haulier queries
Support other team members and provide holiday cover as required
Requirements:
Previous administrative support experience
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Confident using spreadsheets and internal systems
Organised, flexible, and able to support changing priorities
A proactive team player with good communication skills
