The Talent Set is partnering with a leading membership association in the renewable energy sector to recruit a Temporary Membership Manager for a 1–3 month contract. This role will play a vital part in supporting the organisation through a busy period of membership renewals and engagement.
We’re looking for an experienced membership or marketing professional who can hit the ground running, bring structure to renewals processes, and strengthen member communications during this peak time.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the end-to-end membership renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate communications.
Support acquisition strategies by working with internal teams to develop and deliver outreach campaigns and value-driven propositions.
Build and maintain positive relationships with current members to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term engagement.
Act as the primary contact for member queries, providing prompt and professional support.
Create and implement communication plans to update members on news, events, and benefits.
Contribute to the planning and promotion of networking and knowledge-sharing events.
Maintain and update CRM and membership databases, ensuring data accuracy and reporting on key trends.
Collaborate closely with finance and marketing to streamline renewal workflows and billing cycles.
Track engagement metrics and provide insights into retention and acquisition performance.
Person Specification
3–5 years’ experience in membership management or marketing within a B2B organisation or trade association.
Proven success in customer/member acquisition, retention, and engagement.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a client-first approach.
Commercially aware and strategically minded, able to adapt quickly to new challenges.
Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally in a hybrid team environment.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Workbooks) and digital communication tools.
