Permanent Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Fakenham, Norfolk

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Fakenham, Norfolk for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 4.5 days per week, along with 1 in 4 weekend and nights on a rota. Part time applications can be considered.

3. Type: 80% equine, 20% farm
4. Hours: Full time, 4.5 days per week
5. Weekends: 1 in 4 weekends
6. OOH: On a rota
7. Computer system: Merlin
8. Consultations: 15 minutes
9. Team: 5 vets
The role
10. 80% equine and 20% farm role
11. The equine role is both ambulatory and clinic based
12. The role offers the opportunity for the Vet to focus on equine dentistry as this is a large focus within the practice
13. Areas of special interest are encouraged and supported

15. The Vet will be responsible for providing a high standard of veterinary care and customer service
16. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients
About them:
17. Purpose built Equine and Farm Animal practice.
18. Sites are fully equipped with facilities including stocks, consulting room, theatre, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, gastrocope, shockwave and laser.
19. The Vet will be working alongside a team of 5 Vets and 4 support staff. One Vet holds a certificate in equine dental.
20. They support personal development with a generous CPD allowance and encourage and support certificates and additional training.
21. The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.

Package
28. Salary: Up to £63, per annum, commensurate to experience
29. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
