The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a high-profile, major infrastructure project in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a large, complex civil engineering scheme, working within an experienced and supportive commercial team for one of the UK's leading main contractors.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist in managing project costs to ensure delivery within budget
* Support the preparation of cost reports, forecasts, and budget updates
* Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions
* Assist with the management of variations and change control processes
* Support subcontract procurement, including tendering and evaluation
* Prepare and assist with interim valuations and applications for payment
* Identify and elevate commercial risks and opportunities
* Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
* Contribute to value engineering initiatives
* Provide commercial support to the wider project team
Requirements
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, civil engineering, or utilities
* Familiarity with the NEC form of contract
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Good communication and organisational abilities
* Able to commute to Central Birmingham (minimum expectation 3 days per week)
Salary & Package
* £40,000 to £60,000 basic salary
