Your role and responsibilities Based in Ipswich, this challenging and varied role allows you to take responsibility for your area supporting School Crossing Patrols in the south of the county; from Hadleigh, to Felixstowe in the east, and to Woodbridge in the north of the area, but mainly focussing on the Ipswich area. You will: provide day to day supervision of School Crossing Patrol and Relief School Crossing Patrol Officers and the sites in your area assist in the recruitment and training of School Crossing Patrol Officers maintain the School Crossing Patrol service at a high standard maintain a healthy and safe working environment for team members by regular inspection and giving advice to the patrols. You will need an NVQ Level 4/5 (undergraduate), or Level 3 (A levels) working towards foundation degree, or evidence of knowledge and experience of Road Safety, HR or Management to be able to demonstrate a passion for making a difference for Suffolk to be committed to the promotion sustainable transport and road safety for all to be a confident communicator, and enjoy building effective relationships with team members to help deliver our objectives You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile.
