A Tier Two Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on a landmark £50m Later Living scheme in Surrey.
This is a rare opportunity to deliver a prestigious, design-led development that combines heritage restoration with high-quality new build construction all backed by a financially secure, privately funded client team.
The Project
The transformation of a historic 23-acre estate in Surrey, into a luxury retirement village for the over-55s. The scheme comprises:
2. Conversion of the Grade II-listed mansion into 18 senior living apartments
3. Construction of 93 new luxury apartments plus 13 cottages
4. High-end health & wellness facilities
5. Extensive landscaping and estate infrastructure works
6. Total value: £49–£50m
7. Programme completion: September 2027
The Role
8. Lead a site team of circa 15 staff
9. Take full ownership of programme, quality, HSEQ and commercial performance
10. Manage subcontractors across restoration, new build, and infrastructure packages
11. Maintain and enhance programme advantage (currently ahead of schedule)
12. Drive standards expected on a premium residential scheme
13. Report directly to the Construction Director
