Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Provide general administrative support, including managing correspondence
* Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring data entry is completed in a timely manner
* Organising paper-work and purchase invoices in preparation for VAT return
* Handle phone calls professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary
* Utilise Microsoft Office to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
* Support the team with clerical duties such as typing, filing, and organising office supplies
* Collaborate with colleagues to improve office processes and enhance efficiency
* Booking out Invoices and emailing them to customers
* Ringing customers for outstanding payments
* Keeping a list of the company vans for when TAX and MOT are due.
* Keeping track of employee's holidays.
* Writing jobs in the sales book and taking payments
* Making and keeping track of the call-out rota
* Sending emails
Skills
* Proven office experience with a strong background in administrative roles
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
* Strong typing abilities for efficient data entry tasks
* Demonstrated clerical experience that showcases your ability to manage various administrative tasks effectively
