We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior ruminant salesperson to join our team and support the growth of our ruminant animal nutrition business. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to develop your skills, work closely with experienced sales professionals, and make a significant impact in the animal feed industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing sales strategies and identifying new business opportunities in the ruminant market.
* Support senior sales specialists in managing relationships with key customers, including feed mills, farmers, and distributors.
* Gain technical knowledge of ruminant nutrition products and provide customer support on product queries.
* Assist with customer visits and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the commercial team to help generate leads and build brand awareness.
* Participate in market research to identify prospects and customer needs within the ruminant sector.
* Help prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
* Attend industry events and conferences to support business development efforts.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A degree or diploma in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* A keen interest in animal nutrition, particularly within the ruminant sector.
* An understanding of livestock.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
* Self-motivated and eager to learn with a passion for sales and customer service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles (even in an internship or part-time capacity) is preferred.
* Willingness to travel and attend customer meetings as needed.
