The Role
Reporting to the Shopper Marketing Controller, you’ll develop and deliver annual shopper marketing plans with key UK customers—unlocking growth, visibility and shopper conversion for Hain’s strategic brands.
This role works hand-in-hand with Customer Managers and cross-functional teams, ensuring that our brands show up powerfully across customer media ecosystems and in-store.
What You’ll Be Doing
Customer Marketing Execution
1. Build, plan and execute annual media plans with selected retailers.
2. Deliver against the 5 Ps: Portfolio, Pricing, Promotion, Placement, Point of Purchase—with shopper mission and retailer strategy at the heart.
3. Partner with customer teams to align plans to joint business objectives, ensuring media investment is efficient and effective.
4. Activate key initiatives and NPD moments, bringing our Gold/Silver/Bronze brand priorities to life.
Customer Insights, Evaluation & Budget Ownership
5. Manage monthly field sales reviews to ensure strong in-store POS compliance.
6. Work with insight teams to evaluate performance, ROI and learnings.
7. Own and monitor customer shopper marketing budgets, ensuring spend always reflects live plans.
Trade Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration
8. Build strong, credible relationships with retailers and key agencies (e.g. Dunnhumby).
9. Create compelling sell-in stories for brand initiatives and NPD.
10. Support customer-facing brand sells and commercial meetings.
Champion of the Shopper & Customer
11. Bring the voice of the shopper and voice of the customer into the business.
12. Understand shopper behaviour, missions and needs—ensuring our brands meet them brilliantly.
13. Drive best-in-class execution across all touchpoints.
About You
14. 1+ year of experience in FMCG Sales, Shopper Marketing or Brand Marketing.
15. Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
16. Ability to work cross-functionally and remotely.
17. Confident using shopper insights, retailer data and Excel to build compelling recommendations.
18. Highly organised, able to juggle priorities and deliver outstanding execution.
19. A natural storyteller with strong presentation skills.
