We are seeking a passionate and motivated Food & Nutrition Technician to join our thriving Creative and Technology Faculty at The Romsey School.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering engaging, high-quality practical lessons, supporting both students and staff, and helping to inspire the next generation of chefs, nutritionists and food scientists. While your main focus will be within Food & Nutrition, you will also have the opportunity to support the wider faculty where required.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide an efficient, safe and well-organised technical service to the Food & Nutrition department
* Support teaching staff and students during practical lessons
* Prepare and maintain equipment, ingredients and learning spaces
* Ensure high standards of health and safety, including risk assessments and equipment checks
* Contribute positively to the wider ethos and day-to-day life of the school
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a Food Technician (or a willingness to learn and develop in the role)
* Good subject knowledge alongside strong organisational and communication skills
* A positive, proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team
* A commitment to safeguarding and enhancing the learning experience of all students
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
