Overview of the role
Whether you are new to the industry or have come from a social care background, we welcome your application. as you'll be provided with in-house training when you start work with Choice Care. Working alongside our permanent staff team, not only will you make a huge difference to people’s lives, but you’ll be able to enjoy days out, trips away and join in with many more activities, all of which ensure the people we work with are safe, happy and lead a fulfilling lives.
Key duties
* Providing personal care – including bathing, toileting, dressing and help with feeding
* Medication administration
* Assisting and getting involved in residents' daily activities, hobbies or outings
* Following care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures
* Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
* Maintaining written daily records
* Attending and completing training, as required

Where will you work?
White House is a large, detached house near the village of Datchet, four miles east of Slough town centre. The home’s staff provide 24-hour care and support for up to nine men and women of varying ages with moderate to severe learning disabilities, autism, communication difficulties and associated complex needs. Residents are encouraged to socialise and get involved, and the home has a lively, welcoming atmosphere. People take part in activities throughout the week and there are plenty of local amenities to take advantage of. The home has two vehicles for local travel, and regular leisure, recreational and educational activities in the community.
