Senior Finance Business Partner required for a large, well-known UK brand to help drive and effectively manage cost strategy
£75,000 – £90,000 (DOE) + £5,000 car allowance + bonus + benefits

A high-impact opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute Senior Finance Business Partner to lead on cost strategy and support decision-making across a complex, multi-entity organisation. As part of a newly established Group Cost team, this role is pivotal to improving cost visibility, driving value, and embedding financial accountability across the business.
Working closely with Finance Directors, the CFO, COO and senior business leaders, you’ll help shape how the organisation plans, manages and optimises its cost base — balancing robust control with strategic insight. You’ll be a trusted advisor to the business, supporting smarter, data-led decisions that align to long-term goals.
Key Requirements:
Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with 5+ years’ post-qualified experience
Proven track record in cost management, FP&A or commercial finance within large, complex businesses
Excellent business partnering skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
Strong analytical mindset and advanced Excel capabilities
Comfortable leading cross-functional cost initiatives and improving financial processes
Commercially focused, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insight
Resilient, proactive, and results-driven, with strong attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
Lead cost reporting and analysis across the group, including end-to-end P&Ls, category insights and productivity KPIs
Partner with operational and functional leaders to manage spend and align cost decisions with strategic priorities
Build and implement processes to track and control key cost categories (e.g. IT, professional services, overheads)
Deliver clear, forward-looking insight to support planning, forecasting and investment decisions
Align cost classification and allocation approaches across finance and business units
Drive a cost-aware culture by promoting financial accountability and value-based thinking at all levels
Support broader transformation initiatives and ad hoc cost projects as required
