This is a brilliant opportunity to join a fast‑growing technology services business delivering high‑end Audio Visual solutions across London and the South East. You’ll be working on professionally delivered AV environments rather than messy “plug and pray” installs, with exposure to enterprise and premium workplace builds.
You’ll be trusted with technical ownership rather than being micromanaged, given freedom to improve systems, and encouraged to develop your skills on modern AV technologies. If you enjoy getting systems working properly, commissioning with pride, and being part of a team that values technical standards, this is a role you’ll thrive in.
Based primarily on customer sites in London, you’ll also collaborate with the wider team from the Maidenhead office when required. This is not a factory‑line install role, it’s for someone who wants to be an engineer, not just an installer.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality AV installations and commissioning for customer environments.
* Configure and commission control systems, DSPs, and signal processing platforms.
* Program, test, and troubleshoot Crestron and Extron‑based AV solutions.
* Carry out site surveys and provide technical input into solution design.
* Support installation teams with fault diagnosis and live system testing.
* Work directly with clients during handover, testing, and post‑install support.
* Maintain documentation, system schematics, and commissioning records.
* Ensure projects are completed to agreed technical and quality standards.
Skills / Must Have
* Hands‑on experience with Crestron systems.
* Experience working with Extron platforms.
* Practical knowledge of DSP commissioning and audio signal flow.
* Confident fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills.
* Able to work independently across installations and commissioning tasks.
* Comfortable dealing directly with customers on site.
* Full right to work in the UK.
Competitive salary for the AV market. Opportunity to work on quality projects rather than rushed installs. Supportive team environment with a strong technical culture. Structured approach to project delivery and standards. Long‑term career progression with training and development available.
