The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is seeking a Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Consultant with extensive experience in all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O projects. The role requires a hands-on approach, a solid understanding of finance processes and procedures, and knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. Candidates should have a proven consultancy background, as this position involves continuous interaction with clients and project teams, including both onshore and offshore developers. Additionally, the role involves presales activities related to Dynamics F&O functionality and the broader Microsoft platform, contributing to proposals and business development, and mentoring junior staff.
This position is crucial for delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions at KPMG. It offers a dynamic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business area within a well-established, global Big 4 firm.
Responsibilities
1. Participate in full end-to-end implementations and all project lifecycle phases
2. Work with D365FO interfaces and integrations
3. Gather and document functional requirements and perform gap/fit analysis
4. Produce solution and integration design documents in collaboration with development teams
5. Manage scope (creep) and utilize change control processes
6. Deliver end-user training to clients and colleagues
7. Provide on-site support during delivery and go-live phases
8. Stay informed about product roadmap and future releases of D365FO
9. Assist in responding to RFPs and RFQs
10. Develop creative solutions for complex problems
11. Identify opportunities for upselling and demonstrate company capabilities
12. Promote company values and ensure timely completion of internal processes and training
13. Perform additional duties as assigned by management
14. Represent KPMG MBS professionally at all times
Requirements, Qualifications, and Skills
* Experience in consulting with strong presentation skills
* Ability to lead meetings and workshops, confidently presenting to C-Suite executives
* Minimum of 4 years' experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (D365FO) or AX2012, covering modules such as Finance, SCM, Commerce, HR
* Experience with D365FO interfaces and integrations
* Microsoft Dynamics certification in relevant modules (preferably current version)
* Beneficial to have experience with LCS and Azure DevOps
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio is a plus)
* Understanding of Power Platform and Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred
